I have started a land tour company. I can take land shoppers to all four corners of their remote piece of property. Using Google Earth I can locate all the GPS coordinates to the property you're interested in. I can locate the corners in Google Earth using the Township and Range system all the way down to 40 acre lots. It won’t tell me if it is divided for 80 acres. The GPS will get me to within 10 to 20 feet of where the pins would be if there isn’t one.
I
will take you out to your property and
place 4" x 10' drain pipe posts that you purchased in town on all l 4 corners of your lot and help you place more if you need to mark a road out to it. I can get you in touch with local
contractors if you want to pay someone to build you a road.
Using
drain pipe makes it possible for you to see your land from corner to
corner. If there are no mountains in
way, this helps new land owners to area get some perspective on the size of their
lots and plan where they might want to build their house.
I
can also tell you what you need to know if you want to find out if
there are minable minerals on your land. I will help you pick out rock samples and take them to a assayer. Northern Nevada is know for its micron gold. You can't see it but it's there.
All
my tours are a BID PRICE, since distances and times can vary. I will cover all my fuel costs to get to your destination on the planned route. I accept only CASH up front as a form a of payment.
My
tours will include:
1. A custom tour
schedule for all customers providing estimated driving times and hiking times.
2. I will provide you with information on were you can stay for your visit.
3. Full size parcel
maps will be picked up from the local land surveyor if you want them.
4. A stop a local store
so you can pick up your lunch and proper Nevada outback attire.
5. A stop for you to purchase
drain pipe, t-posts, and other real estate markers.
6. Place markers for
road and house pad.
7. Opportunity to
prospect. Gather rock samples and drop
them off at local assayer.
8. I will personally
drive or walk you to all 4 corners of the land.
9. At the end of the
tour I’ll email you all GPS coordinates used to find your lot.
My Tour Tips:
1. Rent a hotel room in Winnemucca, NV. The tours can take all day because some lots don't have roads.
2. Get your desert hiking boots and clothes the day before if you didn't bring any. Bring your cowboy hat.
3. Let me know how many people you plan to take with you. More than one and you'll have to rent a 4x4 to follow me.
4. Most women can't handle the wide open spaces. So if you want to trade your wife in for desert rats this place will be perfect for you.
5. You need a lunch and 1 gallon of water. Just in case we figure out how to get stuck.
6. Bring your digital camera, camcorder and binoculars.
Things to Remember:
1. After you buy your lot "YOU ARE 911". 911 isn't going to do any good unless they send helicopters.
2. Your odds of dying before you get to the hospital are good.
3. After you hurt yourself, hope your cell phone works and you're able to push the buttons.
4. It's the desert. Know where you can get water and always carry a gallon of water with you.
